Leopard Imaging Expands Holoscan-Enabled Camera Portfolio Optimized for NVIDIA Jetson Thor

22 Sep, 2025

FREMONT, Calif, September 22nd, 2025 — Leopard Imaging Inc, a global leader in embedded vision and AI-based imaging solutions, is enriching its portfolio of Holoscan-enabled cameras, now fully optimized to support NVIDIA’s powerful edge AI platform —Jetson Thor. This expanded offering provides developers, researchers, and enterprises with the vision infrastructure needed to power the next generation of physical AI applications.

Leopard Imaging has long pioneered high-performance camera solutions for NVIDIA Jetson platforms. With this portfolio expansion, its embedded Holoscan-enabled cameras now deliver seamless connectivity, high-bandwidth 10GigE performance, GPU-direct access, and ultra-low latency perception data capture—fully compatible with Jetson AGX Orin, IGX Orin, and Jetson Thor.

The enriched lineup spans monocular, stereo, 3D time-of-flight, and fusion camera systems, supporting up to 100 megapixels for applications that demand extreme precision. Each camera integrates with NVIDIA Holoscan, enabling developers to process sensor data in real time and accelerate AI-powered decision making. For ease of adoption, Holoscan Camera Evaluation Kits provide a plug-and-play environment, reducing development friction and enabling faster deployment of edge AI solutions.

NVIDIA Jetson Thor sets a new standard for edge AI computing, built on the Blackwell GPU architecture with 2,070 FP4 TFLOPs of AI performance, a 14-core ARM CPU, and up to 128 GB of memory. Combined with Leopard Imaging’s camera solutions, Thor’s 7.5x performance leap unlocks new possibilities in robotics, industrial automation, medical imaging, and autonomous machines—where split-second visual processing can define outcomes.

“By expanding our Holoscan-enabled portfolio, we’re ensuring that developers and enterprises can fully leverage NVIDIA Jetson Thor’s breakthrough capabilities,” said Bill Pu, CEO and co-founder of Leopard Imaging. “This synergy between advanced perception system and high-performance computing is enabling machines that can see, think, and act—in real time.”

From robotics applications to smart factories, Leopard Imaging’s expanded Holoscan-enabled portfolio provides the complete perception infrastructure: camera modules in varied form factors, synchronization accessories, software drivers, and robust data pipelines. This holistic approach ensures customers can scale from development to production with confidence.
